Right out of the gate, the nose is beautiful. It hits you with a great mix of bright red fruits and subtle spice, but there is an unexpected depth to it. On the palate, it has this killer, velvety texture and a nice touch of earthiness that perfectly grounds the fruit. The acidity is spot-on, keeping the whole experience fresh and elegant without ever feeling thin or washed out. It has a presence and a complexity that you just don't expect from a young Texas red.
You can tell immediately that putting this bottle together was a massive labor of love. The craftsmanship is insane, and the winemaking team absolutely killed it with this vintage. If you appreciate elite wine that challenges your expectations, this is an absolute must-try. Beautiful work.
