August 2026
Michael Snodgrass Exhibit
Fri, Aug 7, 2026 - Sun, Sep 20, 2026

We are pleased to collaborate with MixHaus Gallery to bring you a spirited new art exhibition at the Bending Branch Wine Club Lounge. Michael Snodgrass pairs bold color, humor, and his unmistakable cast of characters with themes of wine and bourbon, creating paintings that honor the pursuit of quality while playfully poking fun at the rituals, opinions, and pretensions that sometimes accompany it. There has been a recent surge of interest in Michael's work in the Texas Hill Country. His expressive paintings, his wry wit and powers of observation, and his appreciation for life lived fully and authentically, dovetail perfectly with the rugged charm of this region and the people drawn to it.

Michael's art will be on display at Bending Branch through September 20.

To elevate the culinary experience, each course is thoughtfully paired with award-winning wines from Bending Branch Winery, known for its bold, innovative approach to wine making. Founded by Bob Young, MD, Bending Branch has become a Texas Hill Country standout, acclaimed for its commitment to sustainable practices and groundbreaking use of techniques like cryo-maceration and flash détente. Dr. Young's passion for both science and wine makes this collaboration especially meaningful as we explore the synergy between food, health, and wellness.

Beyond the delicious food and wine, guests will engage in an intimate discussion with Chef Elizabeth Johnson, Dr. Michael Wargovich, and Dr. Bob Young. Together, they will share insights into the anti-inflammatory properties of the featured ingredients, the role of nutrition in long-term wellness, and the artistry of pairing fine wines with health-driven cuisine.
