Summer Poetry Reading with Paulette Jiles

Beloved Texas author Paulette Jiles will be our honored guest at our summer poetry reading on Friday, June 17th. She will share poems, prose, and stories, as well as a question-and-answer session.

Paulette is a novelist and poet. Her best-selling novels include News of the World (now a movie, starring Tom Hanks), Simon the Fiddler, Enemy Women, Stormy Weather, and The Color of Lightning. She won Canada’s highest award for poetry, The Governor General’s Award. She graduated from the University of Missouri in Romance Languages. She lives near San Antonio, Texas.
