Fall Poetry Reading: FOCUS/REFOCUS

At our fall poetry reading, we’re featuring two poets who are talented “noticers” of life and the wonder in the ordinary.

Two well-recognized contemporary poets of Texas, Past Poet Laureate, Jenny Browne, and Executive Director of Gemini Ink in San Antonio, Alexandra van de Kamp, will connect with the greater Comfort community live at Ursa at Branch on High on Friday, September 30th.

With their rich and exuberant selections and voices, one aim of this accomplished pair of poets is to help us focus, to put order to the world and give us handles to grasp during our tough times. It is said that both the big and small worlds that poets create with their words and images help us to compensate for what the real world does not always give us day-to-day.
