Tannat

Historically, the slow ripening Tannat varietal was the foundation for a noble wine originating in the Pyrenees foothills south of Bordeaux. Today it is known for making high quality New World wine with a deep purple-red color and tastes of intense fruit.

Petite Sirah

Petite Sirah, first introduced in the U.S. in the 1880’s, is a cross between a very old French variety Peloursin and Syrah. It’s small berries produce a rich deep wine often with flavors of dark cherry and blackberry. This old vine Petite Sirah comes from 38 year old vines planted on their own roots.

Picpoul Blanc

Picpoul Blanc is an ancient southern French varietal, known as “lip stinger” for its bright acidity. Picpoul Blanc generates flavors of tropical fruits and is known as one of the gems of Southern Rhone for its ability to boost the bouquet of Rhone-style blends.

Texas Tannat

Cabernet Sauvignon                                                                      

This reserve Cabernet was punched down by hand in small fermenters followed by minimal handling using gravity flow. It was aged 33 months in barrel. Only 50 cases vinted.

Vermentino                                                                                    

Vermentino is of Spanish origin best known today for outstanding white wines from Sardinia and Southern Italy. This variety offers refreshing acidity with a spectrum of flavors from citrus to pear and green apple.

Comfortage                                                                                    

This Comfortage is made from 100% Roussanne grapes undergoing malolactic fermentation and barrel aged. Roussanne is a white Rhone-style varietal yielding rich textured wine with good acidity and stone fruit aromatics.
